Hamilton County runs its landfill and recycling operation from one campus at 4652 SW 107th Ave in Jasper — same road as the Recreation Center and the correctional institution, near Evergreen Cemetery. It's actually one of the more capable county facilities in the region. Here's what to know before you haul. (Quick clarification since our phone rings for it: we're Muckpro, the dumpster rental company — not the county landfill.)

What they take
The campus includes five sites: a Class III landfill, hazardous waste center, waste tire site, scrap metal site, and residential household garbage collection. The Class III landfill accepts yard trash, construction and demolition debris, carpet, cardboard, paper, glass, plastic, and furniture — making Hamilton one of the few county facilities in the area where contractors and residents can legally tip land-clearing and construction debris.
Fees
Residential household garbage runs $70.00 per ton, with separate rates for C&D and other materials — confirm current fees at (386) 792-1020 or on the official page: hamiltoncountyfl.com/solid-waste.
Finding it
From Jasper: take 5th Ave SW (between the S&S Convenience Store and the drive-thru package store), straight until it dead-ends at 8th St SE, right on 8th, then left on SW 107th Ave at the Evergreen Cemetery entrance — the facility is about a half mile down on the left.
When the dump isn't the answer
Tipping at the landfill means loading twice — once into your truck, once out at the working face — plus per-ton fees on a scale you don't control. A Muckpro roll-off in Jasper, Jennings, or White Springs means you load once and we handle the rest at a flat C&D rate you see before you book. Your invoice matches your bid, every time.
