Skip the Trip — Book a Dumpster

Bradford County runs six residents-only collection sites — Starke, Lawtey, the 229 site, Sampson, Keystone, and Brooker — all on the same schedule, no rotating closed days to memorize. Big loads go to the New River Regional Landfill in Raiford, and since the county stopped issuing tipping-fee waivers, you pay there as a cash customer. Here’s the rundown. (And since our phone gets this question weekly: we’re Muckpro, the roll-off dumpster company — not the county dump.)

The six sites

  • Starke — 2806 NE 173rd St · (904) 964-9639 · also the county’s household hazardous waste drop
  • Lawtey — 1130 NE 213th St · (904) 782-1160
  • 229 Site — 9753 NW CR 229 · (904) 964-9391
  • Sampson — 16900 SW 75th Ave · (904) 964-9390
  • Keystone — 1373 SE SR 100 · (352) 473-5258 · closest site to Keystone Heights & Hampton Lake
  • Brooker — 15086 SW CR 18 · (352) 485-2777

What they take — and don't

Bagged household garbage and standard recyclables (cardboard, newspaper, aluminum and steel cans). Not accepted: commercial waste, burn barrels, dead animals, liquids, hazardous waste, and motor oil. Larger loads go to New River Regional Landfill, two miles north of SR 16 on SR 121. County Solid Waste: (386) 496-2180 · unioncounty-fl.gov/solid-waste.

When the dump isn't the answer

The collection centers are for bagged household garbage — the moment a project produces real volume, the county sends you to New River Regional Landfill, and that means hauling it yourself, load after load. A Muckpro roll-off in Starke, Lawtey, Hampton, or Keystone Heights skips all of it: we deliver the can, you fill it once, we haul it at a flat quoted rate.

Where is the Starke dump?
2806 NE 173rd St, (904) 964-9639. It’s also the county’s household hazardous waste drop-off.
Where is the Lawtey dump?
1130 NE 213th St, (904) 782-1160 — same hours as every Bradford site.
Do I need anything to use the sites?
Yes — they’re residents-only under the county’s decal rules. Bring your decal, solid waste assessment receipt, or a license showing a Bradford address.
What about big or construction loads?
Those go to the New River Regional Landfill in Raiford, (386) 431-1000, Mon–Fri 7–5 — Bradford residents pay as cash customers there now. Or load one of our roll-offs in your driveway and let us make the run.
