Every garage cleanout that stalls does so for the same reason: no exit for the junk. Put a can in the driveway and the whole project takes one weekend.
Friday: stage it
- Can delivered to the garage apron — 15-yard for a single-car, 20-yard for a packed two-car.
- Mark three zones on the driveway: Keep · Donate · Toss.
Saturday: empty everything
- Pull it ALL out — the garage must hit empty or the sort fails.
- Two-year rule: haven't touched it in two years, it leaves in the Donate or Toss lane.
- Walk Toss straight through the rear swing doors with a dolly. Stack furniture upright; break down boxes.
Sunday: finish strong
- Donation run in the morning, sweep and organize Keep in the afternoon, call for pickup.
What can't ride
Old paint, chemicals, batteries, propane tanks, and tires are prohibited — county household-hazardous-waste collection handles those. Everything else in a typical garage is fair game. Full details on our FAQ, or just book the can and get your Saturday back.
